Meet your provider
I’m Alyssa, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the founder of ELÉVATE Concierge Medicine. I created ELÉVATE because I believe you deserve a healthcare experience that feels accessible, thorough, compassionate, and centered around you—not rushed or impersonal.
My clinical background includes oncology, infusion therapy, acute symptom management, patient education, and supportive care. For much of my nursing career, I had the privilege of caring for patients like you during some of the most complex and uncertain times in their lives.
Many of the patients I cared for were not only facing a cancer diagnosis, but were also managing multiple chronic health conditions while undergoing intensive treatment regimens that were complicated and constantly changing. Walking alongside them through those experiences profoundly shaped the way I care for you today.
Care That Begins With Understanding
Throughout my career, I’ve seen how overwhelming healthcare can feel for you. A new diagnosis, unfamiliar medical terminology, medications, appointments, testing, and changing treatment plans can quickly make it feel like decisions are happening around you instead of with you.
That’s why patient education and advocacy are so important to me.
I want you to understand what is happening with your health, why I’m making a recommendation, what your options are, and what questions you should feel empowered to ask. You should never feel rushed, dismissed, or unsure about your care.
At ELÉVATE, my goal is simple: to help you understand your health, feel heard, and receive thoughtful care that gives you time, clarity, and space.
A Proactive Approach to Health
My experience in oncology also reinforced something I feel strongly about: your healthcare should not begin only when something is wrong.
Prevention is a key part of how I care for you. Screenings, routine evaluations, nutrition, movement, healthy habits, and identifying risk factors early can all make a meaningful difference in your long-term health.
I want to help you understand which preventive steps are right for you and make them feel realistic and achievable in your everyday life. My goal isn’t just to address what you’re dealing with today—it’s to help you protect and strengthen your health for the future.
Looking at the Whole Person
My approach to medicine is grounded in evidence-based conventional care, but I also believe your health is more than a diagnosis, prescription, or lab result.
I take a whole-person approach because I want to understand you—not just your symptoms. There may be a place for holistic and supportive therapies when they are appropriate, evidence-based, and aligned with your goals.
Rather than focusing on one issue in isolation, I look at the full picture of your health—your history, lifestyle, concerns, goals, and what matters most to you.
Above all, I want you to feel heard, informed, involved, and genuinely cared for.
Because the best care happens when you don’t just receive a plan—you understand it, feel confident in it, and feel supported in advocating for yourself.
Education & Credentials
I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
My education provided the clinical foundation for my practice, but my years caring for patients and families have shaped how I care for you today—with compassion, communication, education, and respect for the person behind every health concern.
Life Beyond the Clinic
When I’m not caring for patients, I’m at home with my two daughters. Being their mom has deepened my appreciation for balance, prevention, and long-term health, and it constantly reminds me of the kind of care I would want for my own family—thoughtful, compassionate, and centered on you as a whole person.
I also believe in practicing many of the same healthy habits I encourage in you. I enjoy staying active and exercising, and I love good food and discovering new flavors. To me, your health isn’t only about what happens during a visit—it’s about how you live, move, nourish yourself, and care for your well-being every day.
